Direct Routing enables customers to select their telecom provider to route phone calls in and out of the Microsoft Teams application. This allows you to make and receive calls directly within Teams, integrating your communication seamlessly into one platform.

All the features of Hosted PBX, including call transfer, custom caller ID, fax to email, caller ID routing, voice menus, call recordings, user performance reports, call queue wallboards, and much more, are available when using Microsoft Teams Direct Routing with Phonecloud.

We offer a variety of Microsoft Teams-certified handsets from Yealink. You can explore the available handsets by visiting the Equipment section of our website. Please note that Teams desk phones use proprietary Microsoft voice encoding, meaning that other VoIP phones are not compatible with Teams.

To use Microsoft Teams Direct Routing, you’ll need a Microsoft 365 subscription with an Enterprise E1, E3, or E5 license, along with the ‘Phone System’ add-on. A phone number is also required to make and receive calls. Additionally, you have the option to purchase Teams-compatible handsets, allowing you to make and receive calls without relying on software on your PC.
